To celebrate Earth Day 2023, Upward Bound students visited the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum on Friday, April 21st. After touring the museum, students participated in a H2O Investigation where they did a microbiology experiment, testing waters to see what specimens live in the water. Then students attended a butterfly exhibit where they watched butterflies be released. For lunch, students ate at Ed Debevic's, which is an American themed diner where servers are snarky towards guest.
