Kankakee Community College Upward Bound

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Karen Alvarez-Hunt on Monday. She devoted herself to serving Upward Bound students by teaching math and providing college guidance, which was her true passion. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, loved ones, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her. She will be remembered for her commitment to student success, her generosity of spirit, and her unwavering belief in the power of education.
