Kankakee Community College Upward Bound

Students concluded their three-week Illinois State University residential summer component with a meaningful and immersive college experience. During their time on campus, students attended college-level courses, lived in the residence halls, and navigated daily life as college students. This experience allowed them to build independence, develop academic confidence, and gain a realistic understanding of what to expect in higher education. Overall, the program provided students with valuable insight into college life while encouraging them to envision their future on a college campus.
