Join Upward Bound for the show of a lifetime, The Wiz at the the Cadillac Palace in Chicago, IL. This event will take place on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, from 10:30am-7:00pm. Students will need to arrive to KCC at 10:30am and must be picked up from KCC at 7:00pm. Since this is a Saturday event, students will be responsible for their own transportation to and from KCC. We will be taking the 11:40am train from University Park. Light snacks and transportation to and from the train station will be provided.
THERE ARE LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE for this event. In the event that the number of students signed up exceeds the amount of spots available, of the students who have signed up, UB staff will select the students who have participated and attended the most events this year. Upward Bound will have a guest speaker come and speak about FAFSA! As you know, FAFSA will open in late December, and it has changed. So, this workshop will be beneficial, and I encourage all seniors to sign up :)
The workshop will be on Wednesday, October 18th, from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM at Kankakee Community College in the Iroquois Room. Please arrive at 3:15 PM at KCC. We will provide dinner and transportation.
